of the latest trends and findings in metal treating. Byington
Steel Treating subscribes to further the education of all
personnel through the Metal Treating Institute’s Heat
Treating Academy. Personnel are actively engaged in
completing coursework to obtain specialty certificates
through the Academy. We are members of the Metal
Treating Institute, National Tool and Die Association,
National Association for Machining, and ASM International.

| Rich Sasamoto, Production
Manager |
| Rich launched his career
with Byington Steel in 2002 bringing over 15 years
of heat treating experience with him. He has specialized
training in numerous areas of heat treating including
nitriding, metallurgical laboratory and calibrations.
Rich was born in Saipan and came to California in 1986.
He lives in San Jose and has 3 boys. When Rich isn’t
at work you can find him on the golf course, in the
gym or jogging about. |
