Cryogenics

Cryogenic tempering is a process for stabilizing steel and aluminum.

Low temperature to -120°F.

Carbonitriding

Carbonitriding is a case hardening process in which a suitable ferrous material is heated above the lower transformation temperature in a gaseous atmosphere of such composition as to cause simultaneous absorption of carbon and nitrogen.

Carburizing

Carburizing is a case hardening process that produces a carbon gradient extending inward from the surface, enabling the surface layer to be hardened either by quenching directly from the carburizing temperature or by cooling to room temperature.

Aluminum Heat Treating

Aluminum heat treating is an annealing process in which a metal is heated and cooled in an inert atmosphere to inhibit oxidation.

The result is a surface that remains relatively bright.
